Shorthand definitions for the terms you'll see across these docs.

Terms

  • chargeId — keccak-256 hash uniquely identifying a vendor charge across the escrow lifecycle.
  • Auth window — period after Capture during which a charge can be cancelled (default 24h).
  • Refund window — period after Settle during which a refund can be issued (default 7d).
  • Sweep — permissionless finalization after the refund window; burns escrowed $PURPOSE.
  • Soulbound — non-transferable. Applies to $PURPOSE (whitelist-gated) and the Receipt NFT (hard-blocked).
